The rugged casing of the Agilent E4403B makes it withstand various transportation stresses. The rubber encased frames on the front and rear parts enhances its durability, making it a suitable option for field operations and other exercises that may expose an equipment to mechanical stresses. Furthermore, it also has a weather resistant casing that allows users to employ it for field operations in high humidity environments. The model also offers one-button measurement routines as a built-in feature. Its built-in counter enables users to precisely identify various signals.

Optional Tracking Generator

Scalar network analysis and related testing exercises require an RF source. The E4403B offers an optional built-in tracking generator that is capable of generating an RF output required for many useful network analysis exercises. Engineers and technicians can make quick reference by using the built-in help function.

The E4403B uses a GPIB interface as a standard feature and an optional RS-232 interface. Its flexible card cage allows the technician to customize to most any requirement, making it very adaptable for their unique testing needs. The scalable design also allows users to add upgrade enhancements to the spectrum analyzer whenever testing needs require them. The E4403B is also designed to accept an external frequency reference whenever highly accurate results are required.
