The Chroma 62020H-150S DC Power Supply is a 2kW Solar Array Simulator for your consideration. A solar simulator test application is typically DC to AC inverter testing. In addition DC to DC Converter testing may be needed. A solar inverter, DC, AC or PV, takes the DC output of a  PV (photovoltaic) solar panel and converts it into into a AC (alternating current) that can be distributed or fed into a local or commercial electrical grid.
