Test Equipment for WWII Radar Counter-Measures (CXFD)
This World War II era test equipment was for use with radar counter-measures (CXFD) and designed to substitute for a radar system for testing CXFD equipment, radar jammers, beacon systems and similar devices. and to monitor the pulse-modulated output of radar counter-measures equipment. This device was developed by Ralph Deutsch at the National Bureau of Standards and built by Columbia Broadcasting System for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships.
