Fluke 5725A Amplifier Product Review

The Fluke 5725A Amplifier is an amplifier companion that is used with the Fluke 5700A calibrator to enhance functionality in the calibrator’s direct current (dc), alternating current (ac) and alternating current voltage (ac V) functions. Its operation is totally controlled by the 5700A through a cable connected interface.

The Shielded Interface Cable supplied with Fluke 5725A amplifier is used to connect to the 5700 series calibrator. Once an established connection is made, the Fluke 5725A amplifier functions under full control of the 5700A calibrator. The Fluke 5725A amplifier is controlled from the 5700A calibrator front panel or by sending remote commands to the 5700A. The 700A/5725A shielded interface cable not only provides all the digital and analog control signals for the amplifier, but also provides the conductors with a mechanism to pass amplified voltage to the 5700A calibrator output binding posts. The 5725A amplifier has cable off indicator feature which is lit when the interface cable is not connected, or when the 5700A power is turned off.
